For the intermediate dimension of the conductor's nominal diameter, the minimum film thickness corresponding to the nominal diameter of the larger conductor shall be taken. Note 1: The minimum outer diameter of 0.063mm and below is calculated according to the conductor diameter + minimum film thickness measured in Table 3. Note 2: The intermediate dimensions of the nominal diameter of the conductors of the R40 series are shown in Appendix A. |

Resistance
For enameled wires with conductor nominal diameters of 0.063 mm and below, the resistance at 20 °C shall be within the specified values in Table 3.
For enameled wires with a nominal conductor diameter of 0.063 mm or more, the resistance value is not specified.
After the negotiation between the supplier and the buyer, the enameled wire with a nominal diameter of 0.063mm or more and 1.000mm or less can be used for resistance measurement. In this case, the resistance at 20 °C should be within the range specified in Appendix C.

Round bar winding test (conductor nominal diameter 1.600mm and below)
After the enameled wire is stretched as specified in Table 6 and wound on a suitable round bar, the paint layer shall not crack.
